2015 : In organic banana plantations (circular economy)
Together with Golden Exotics, setting up an agreement for the supply of cocoa shells and ash (residues from the boiler plant) with La Compagnie Fruitière, the leading producer of “fair trade” and organic bananas in the ACS-landen . LA COMPAGNIE FRUITIÈRE has recently signed a partnership with WWF France to continue to implement environmental actions. Especially during the shoot, compost made from cocoa husks (the thin shell that surrounds the bean) acts as a natural fertilizer, rich in organic minerals.

Win-win agreement with French chef Thierry Dieu to welcome a delegation of pastry chefs at the 4 star Hotel Golden Tulip Accra for a demonstration on the use of Barry Callebaut products in exchange for a nice press coverage.
